The Thriving Initiative

Who We Are

Built to support survivors of sexual assault, stalking, and domestic violence in innovative ways, The Thriving Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches coping strategies, responses to triggers & resiliency through free healing & recovery programs.

What We Do

Our keystone workshop, Thriving, Not Just Surviving, is a multi-week series designed exclusively for survivors. Our UC Santa Barbara student officers continuously respond to changing community needs by implementing additional series such as Community Cultivations, The Painting Collective, and a Community Mural. These are broader offerings for survivors of any type of violence and their allies. Our team works to build and promote new holistic healing initiatives for other groups as well to create a more connected and resilient community.
