Open Officer Positions
Finance & Fundraising Team
Our finance team makes our work possible, bringing ideas from the chalkboard to reality, fundraising and accounting for the resources that allow us freedom and flexibility. These dynamic positions are not your typical accounting team - they're better. We pride ourselves in involving all officers in decision-making processes and have been astounded by the creativity of our finance savvy teammates when it comes to programming and all things thriving. If you're looking for a purposeful way to implement what you're learning in the classroom this team is for you. Be a part of something bigger than yourself and put your skills to the test with guidance from our leadership team.
All positions are volunteer positions. Undergraduates may be offered a nominal quarterly stipend to offset the cost of pursuing volunteer work. Successful volunteering provides a unique opportunity for professional development (including the possibility of letters of recommendation).

Hear From Previous Officers
"The Thriving Initiative is like a tree rooted to the ground and each of the initiatives and programs we undertake from The Thriving Not Just Surviving Workshop Series to the Community Cultivations Program is like a branch that reaches out and connects the community to one another, all together providing a strong base of support made up of allies and survivors."
- Shivani, Officer of Budgeting and Special Funding
"As the Officer of Finance and Accounting, I had the incredible opportunity to gain direct experience in accounting and nonprofit reporting. This experience not only solidified my understanding of accounting from the classroom, but also taught me Excel skills that will be critical for any finance career.
It's not common that an undergraduate gets the chance to work with accounting software like QuickBooks and use Excel beyond the fraction taught at school. I'm so grateful I had the chance to get such hands-on experience and hone transferable skills!"
