Tam Razon
Program Operations Coordinator
Tam Razon graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's in Sociology and a minor in Applied Psychology. Based in Santa Barbara, Tam's passion for nonprofit work grew through her studies and professional experiences supporting children, youth, and families navigating complex systems. As a case manager serving at-risk youth, Tam has seen firsthand the importance of connecting individuals with accessible resources, advocacy, and community support. These experiences have inspired her pursuit of a master's degree in School Psychology while contributing to the mission of The Thriving Initiative.
As the Program Operations Coordinator at The Thriving Initiative, Tam supports program development, organizational systems, and efforts that strengthen survivor-centered services across campus communities. She is committed to creating spaces where education, mental health, and community care come together to equip individuals with lifelong tools for healing, resilience, and well-being.
Outside of work, Tam enjoys discovering new experimental music, playing local co-op video games with loved ones, exploring new recipes, and cats, cats, cats--because there are never too many."
