Alexis Kallen

Board Secretary

Alexis Kallen is a Stanford graduate and Rhodes Scholar currently in her first year of law school at Yale. During her undergraduate career she was the head of the "The Scary Path" initiative which brought light to a notoriously dangerous and dark path between two fraternities on campus. As a Rhodes Scholar, she spent several years at Oxford, where the research for her graduate degree focused on the challenges female asylum-seekers with disabilities face in the immigration process and what legal changes could be made to better assist that population.

Outside of the classroom, Alexis co-wrote the sexual assault policy that all Rhodes Scholars now follow. At Yale, Alexis has maintained her involvement in sexual assault work through the law school's Title IX Working Group. Alexis has been a part of The Thriving Initiative since the very beginning of its time as an empathetic and action-oriented mentor. This organization would look entirely different without her help and expertise on creating inclusive environments that are supportive and trauma-informed.
